This Box contains 1 book, 8 miniphon records and 1 battery driven device. Edition of copies. The tracks are very short a cappella songs, the German texts of which are printed in the booklet, where they are also parts of a story illustrated with photographs. There are no track titles given on this release, but there are titles credited on the much later Japanese reissue , where all the tracks from the 8 miniphon records were put onto the two sides of a 7" vinyl.

Where Do We Go From Here? by Doris Dörrie
Sadly the minifons break really easy, so be sure to enjoy listening to the minidiscs cost you at least a few minifons extra and they are hard to get in an acceptable quality. If I had to choose the best record of that period it would be this one. But there is so much good and innovative stuff coming out of that era.
All manner of strange things happen to him. I felt the end was lacking, but it did keep me reading. I started this book in summer and had a loooong reading pause so when I continued two days ago with hundred pages to finish i couldnt really get into it again. I remember not quiet liking the humor though but maybe thats because Im not a middle-aged woman lol.
Anyway read if you want to but I dont think Ill read it again.

May 12, Levi rated it liked it. Closer to 3. I really liked the story. But it was nothing over the moon. The main character is a man in crisis and in many ways relatable. He does have so irksome qualities but, the story hits on a lot of midlife crisis subjects. Nov 29, Annalise rated it really liked it. Was machen wir jetzt?

Ich habe das Buch auf Deutsch gelesen und es hat mir gut gefallen. Die Geschichte fliesst auf angenehmer Weise so dahin und das Amerikanisches Kinderlied, Row,row, row your boat Gently down the stream Merrily, merrily, merrily Life is but a dream, Erinnert uns immer wieder daran nicht zu "schwer" zu leben. Dieses Prinzip wird auch verstaerkt durch die viele Buddhistische Hinweise.
Das Ende gefaellt mir. So muss es sein. Oct 01, Georgia rated it it was amazing. This was just hilarious! I really loved it and such a good break from my regular reading. It reminded me of Vonnegut in so many ways.

Jan 11, Kelly rated it really liked it. Very funny tale of a man going through a mid-life crisis who skeptically "finds himself" at a budhhist commune. Written by a woman but gives insight into men in relationships. A new-agey twist. Aug 01, Peter Jakobs added it. Hm, the overall idea of this book reminds my of my own life, except the weird happy end.
Fun to read as nothing continues as expected. Well: what to do next?
